Macarena Rosado holds a Degree in Law (Complutense University, Spain), a Master of Law, with Honours from Northwestern University, US and a Master in Corporate Law from IE LAW School, Spain.
Macarena Rosado is Secretary of the Board and General Counsel of IE, being among her duties the legal direction of all matters affecting IE Business School and its Group, comprising a number of different institutions, including IE University, Fundación Instituto de Empresa and the Alumni Association. In addition to carrying her duties, Rosado engages in legal consultancy for the boards of different corporations.
Before joining IE in 1995, Macarena Rosado was Counsel on the Corporate Legal Department of RENFE, managing civil and criminal proceedings through all their stages, including the Spanish Supreme Court and Constitutional Court.
